Manila Control v1.0 | By mastsogo

It's a simple program that allows us to switch between 2D or 3D Manila and the "Today" of Windows. Allows you to set our screen "Today" with our favorite plugins and Manila also used simultaneously.

Installation:
- Copy the cab to the terminal and install
- Use within MC Config Start - Programs - MC
- Tap set menu choose your Manila 2D or 3D and whether those who want to start after reboot.
- To end tap menu - SoftReset

Description:
- The application allows the use of today's windows and 2D/3D Manila.
- To exchange desk, is from Left softkey, but it hardbutoon can assign a, a FTouchFlo and in some models a gesture of activation of the cube. (There's configure it manually).
- The application does not interpret gestures.
- Close to leave Manila for more available RAM (Right SoftKey).
- Manila You can start at boot or not.
- Eliminates Manila from the list of items today.
- Some entries may appear in Spanish if you do not use a ROM WEE.
- The application does not stay resident in memory so it does not consume RAM.

Warning: Be sure you know what you're doing and read around the Diamond forums to see where others have run into trouble and with which tweaks on which ROMs. Many people have had to Hard Reset their devices while others have had no problems so read up!

1. Boost TFL3D Performance --
Using Advanced Config, change File system cache to 8mb and file system filter cache to 131072

2. Boost TFL3D Performance --
HKLM\System\Storagemanager\Fatfs and change key Cachesize from 16384 to 32768

3. Wake Up on New SMS --
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent <-- set to "1" by default. Change value to "0"

4. Switch Mute Call on phone flipped face down: HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE : FaceDownMuteRing: change value to "0"

5. Change CallWaiting Tone --
HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE : by default set to \windows\waitingtone.wav by default. change to anything else

6. Boost TFL3D Scrolling Speed --
- HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit = 16384 or 32768 (DWORD decimal)
- To change it back to the default: - HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit = 8192 (DWORD decimal)

7. To do a Hard Reset, with the phone ON, hold down the Volume Down and Enter (round navigation) keys and press soft reset while they are pressed.

8. Prevent screen switching off during phone call --
HKEY_Local_Machine\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\EnableFastD ormantDisplayDuringCall to 0 (Note: does not work on all ROMs)
AND (tested and works on EU ROMs thanks to Rod65)
HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone\Sleep switch value from 1 to 0

9. Set HTC Album X button to close not minimizek_minimize change value to 0

10. Disable Enlarged Title bar (when you click on a notification) to the default WM behavior: HKLM->Software->HTC->EnlargeTitleBar - and change "Enable" from 1 to 0.

11. Turn off startup aninmation and sound --
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\ -> rename both "StartupGif" and "StartupWav" to other names

12. Enable GPS photo --
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P10 -> change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1

13. Another supposed TFL3D tweak for better performance --
HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings:
SpeedHigh: default value (25) <-- Change to (5) / SpeedLow : default value (70) <-- Chnge to (14) save and soft reset

14. Adjust screen sensitivity --
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\TouchPanel
Value = PressureThreshold
Change from the default dword:00000027 or 34 to dword:000000f0 or 240 in decimal

15. Automatically lock your Diamond --
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDevic eLockEnable from 0 to 1 and everytime your backlight goes off the device is locked

16. More Camera Modes --
To Enable 'Burst': HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P6 -> change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1

To Enable 'Sport': HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P8 -> change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1

To Enable 'Video Share': HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P9 -> change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1

17. Delay device autolock --

19. Hide SIM Contacts --
HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone - create a new DWORD value named "ShowSim" and set it to 0

20. Enable HSUPA --

21. Enable Audio Booster without headset --
HKLM/System/State/Hardware/Headset set the value to 1 (soft reset will bring it back to 0)

22. Remove Vertical and Horizontal Scrollbars --
For the horizontal (bottom) scrollbar:

For the vertical (right) scrollbar:

23. Remap Manila softkeys --
HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/
HomeLSKPath, which is the left softkey (Standard = Phonepad)
And
HomeRSKPath, which is the right softkey.
If you change these with the location of the programs you want to link to, and simultaneous change the names:
HomeLSKText = Left softkey text
And
HomeRSKText = Right softkey text.

When activating "burst" and "sport" the max size of the pictures is "L" but if you change:

Start Menu Service v1.6

The Start Menu is just one more replacement for the standard menu found on windows mobile pocket pcs. The main difference is that it has been made as a service and so does not need to be launched on startup, it is done automatically, and it is not an extra exe, but a dll loaded by services.exe



Version 1.6:

- fix problem of empty entries in the menu
- Large icons are now possible by setting an option in the registry
- fix problem of rendering on some parts of the screen
- fasten the menu rebuild mechanism

w0lf's Translator 1.0



Wolf's Translator uses the Google Translate engine to provide translations.
It's a small program I wrote, because I find it useful to be able to translate From/To so many languages at any time and it's much easier to use on the mobile phone than the web-based version of Google Translate.

In order to run the program, .Net Compact Framework 3.5 has to be installed on the device. (if you don't have it, just search google for ".NET Compact Framework 3.5 Redistributable")
Of course, you also need an active Internet Connection.

A nice feature of Google Translate (also present in the application) is the Language Auto Detect feature: you have a text written in I don't know what language, I tell it to translate to English, for example, and it not only translates it, but also shows the language of the source text (try this by checking the Autodetect FROM Language check box).


A feature that right now is missing, but I'm planning to include in a future version is being allowed to save the favourite language pair, so when you open the program it will automatically select your favourite languages.


This program has been tested so far on HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Touch Pro (VGA) and HTC P3600(Trinity) (QVGA).

Pocket Digital Clock (PDC) is a small and simple program that shows a large digital clock with second display on the Windows Mobile Today Screen. Date is shown above the digital clock very much like the HTC Home plug-in. Name of the service provider is replaced by day of week instead.

Tapping on Pocket Digital Clock will bring the user to the Clock and Alarms window, similar to the behavior of Windows Mobile default Date plug-in.

What you have to do is to copy the files to \Windows directory and viola! Orientation Aware Backgrounds!

Note:

1} The theme's default images will be used once you switch themes. So you would need to copy the files back again to \Windows dir for it to work again.

2} Save your images in .png format, after saving just rename .png to .gif and copy ur images to \Windows folder.

3} If You want to make .tsk files just use CabWiz.exe with proper .inf file and rename it to .tsk .

To tweak it you need to make these registry changes:

LightSensorTurnON = 1 (dword)
LightSensorPoolingTime_ms = 1 (dword)

To check if it works, simply set keypad backlight to 10 sec
and click any keypad button. Then play with left LED - cover it and uncover.

However the time of keeping backlight is very short so You must click keypad from time to time.

Especially it's cool when we play with keypad and walk in and out of a darkroom.

After installing this app in Start>Settings>Buttons You'll find an option [Blutooth On/Off] to put under one of the buttons.

This app turns Blutooth, makes it discoverable, and enables OBEX (for both IRDa and BTH).
If pressed again it turns off BTH and disables OBEX.

It works very fast and it's a console app, so it's very short program.

To disable menu animations (sliding in/out) and speed up performance of the UI a bit:

*Disable window animations

To disable window animations (minimizing/maximizing) and speed up performance of the UI a bit:

And to switch them back on:
HKLM\SYSTEM\GWE\Animate = 1 (DWORD decimal)

*Increase font cache

To increase the font cache, speeding up font rendering at the cost of a bit of memory:

To change it back to the default:
HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit = 8192 (DWORD decimal)
You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

*Enable FileSystem cache

To enable the FileSystem cache, speeding up overall performance at the risk of the cache not being written on a sudden reset:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\EnableCache = 1 (DWORD decimal)
To disable again:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\EnableCache = 0 (DWORD decimal)
Note that by default, the cache size is zero, and you will see no effect. See "Increase FileSystem cache" to incease the cache size

*Increase FileSystem cache

To increase the file system cache:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\CacheSize = 4096 (DWORD decimal)
To return the file system cache to zero:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS\CacheSize = 0 (DWORD decimal)
You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

*Increase FileSystem filter cache

To enable the file system filter cache, speeding up overall performance with file mangement:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\Filters\fsreplxfilt\ReplStoreCacheSize = 4096 (DWORD decimal)
To return the file system filter cache to zero:
HKLM\System\StorageManager\Filters\fsreplxfilt\ReplStoreCacheSize = 0 (DWORD decimal)
You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

*Disable the security warning when installing non-certified application

To disable the security warning when installing a non-certfied application, set:
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\0000101a = 1 (DWORD decimal)
To restore the warnings:
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\0000101a = 0 (DWORD decimal)
Note that this makes it easier for any malware to install itself

*Change the application launched by Today screen Soft Keys

To change the application launched by the Today screen Left soft key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Open = "\Windows\Calendar.exe" (REG_SZ string)
To change the title of the Left soft key:

When battery is very low it turns off SD card reader and some com ports like IrDA and BTH.

Wisbar Advance Desktop Themes

:Raving Rabbids Theme:

This theme is made based on the funniest game of Ubisoft, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Thanks to Ubisoft for creating it. Enjoy the theme.

Requirements:
- VGA PocketPC with either WM 5 or WM 6 system operation.
- Wisbar Advance 2 or 3.
- Wisbar Advance Desktop.
- S2U2.

How to install:
- Download the file given below.
- Extract all the files to your PC Desktop.
- Connect your PPC with PC via ActiveSync.
- Transfer the "themes" folder to this path on your PPC *Main memory: \Program Files\Lakeridge\Wisbar Advance Desktop\
- Transfer the "raving rabbids" and "raving rabbids landscape" folders to *Main memory: \Themes\Desktop\
- Transfer the "gfx" folder to *Main memory: \Program Files\S2U2\
- After doing the installation, soft reset your PPC for maximize use.

*: create the following path if it isn't exist yet in your PPC.

How to use:
- Run the Wisbar Advance Desktop application, click and hold on an open area and choose theme manager
(note that "Author Mode" must be active).
- Enter Desktop Theme, at the potrait tab choose "raving rabbids" and at the landscape tab choose "raving rabbids landscape"
after that click ok.
- Now your today screen will look similar to the pictures above and you're done.

Extras:
- Remember to make it in "full screen" mode.
- User's owner name can be changed from the properties option. And the size of the photo will be in 226x159.
- At the games arena just assign the shortcuts of your favourite games on the box provided.
- Some shortcuts that exist will most likely induce a "cannot find file" error when you click them.
This is normal, just click and hold on the icon and edit them to correct path through properties option.
- Enjoy using the Raving Rabbids theme.
